Items purchased before 12pm PST on normal business days will be shipped that day, if not, the following day, unless otherwise communicated. Items purchased on weekends or holidays will ship within the next two regular business days. All items ship from our location in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Nearly every item we sell on eCrater comes with FREE SHIPPING! This service is provided through USPS First Class and Parcel SelectMail, UPS, or through FedEx SmartPost. These services generally take between 4-10 days for delivery within the continental US.
In a hurry? Get your order in just 1-3 days for a small upgrade fee. Contact us before or immediately after placing your order, and we will let you know how much it will cost to upgrade your shipping method to USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx Ground/Home. We don't try to make extra money on the shipping so we'll only charge you for the difference in shipping cost.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking # for your package. Please check for updates on usps.com, ups.com, or fedex.com first if your order has not arrive when expected. Most delays will be noted there, and the expected delivery date updated if it has changed as a result.
We currently ship to the Continental US and its territories only. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Protectorates may take longer than estimates given above, and, for certain items, may require a slight surcharge to offset any associated supplemental shipping costs.
We try to describe all items as accurately as possible, and with few exceptions, show photographs of the actual item(s) for sale. Therefore, returns for an exchange and/or refund are typically only allowed for defective or damaged merchandise.
If there is a problem with your order, or you feel you need to return an item, email us at email@example.com, or message us here at eCrater, before taking any other action. We will respond within 24 hours. Requests for exchange/refund must be made within 7 days of receipt of the item. No merchandise may be returned without advance approval. Any merchandise returned without prior authorization and/or arriving with postage due will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense. Additionally, product(s) must not have been installed or used.
If a return is approved, merchandise should be shipped back to Hoodoo Knots in the same condition in which it was received, including any original packaging. Buyer will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning original item. Of course, we'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). For claims of mechanically defective merchandise, Buyer must initially pay return shipping fees. Once the item has been received back, it will be inspected, and assuming we are able to confirm defect described, we will reimburse the return shipping costs. If item is not found to be defective as alleged by Buyer, return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
We reserve the right to use our discretion in deciding whether to issue a refund, or--if items are still in stock--to exchange returned merchandise for an identical item. Should a refund be due, you should expect to receive it within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in most cases you will receive the refund more quickly. This time period allows for the transit time (3 to 9 business days), the time it takes to process your return once it is received (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes PayPal to process our refund request (2 to 3 business days).
Unless a return is due to an error on our part, the original shipping cost incurred to ship the item will be deducted from any refund, as we have already paid that amount to the carrier. Refunds for this type of return are also subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Once we've received and processed the returned item, we will notify you that an exchange item has been sent or a refund has been issued.
